Psychology and Sign Language as a Teaching Tool

ETJ’s next meeting will be on July 10, 2005 with the topic " Psychology and Sign Language as a Teaching Tool" with our guest-presenter, Amy Szarkowski, Ph.D. Fellow in Comparative Cultures from Miyazaki International College.

The above topic sounds very interesting. I'm sure that all teachers already use "Psychology and Sign Language as a Teaching Tool" in their classrooms, though it's something which we may do intuitively and don't often think about. I've just been reading about a very interesting sign language which can be used to teach hearing impaired people to speak and to read even in languages other than their own.
